  1. To promote for public benefit the advancement of paediatric surgery which includes but is not limited to the investigation and management of paediatric patients suffered from surgical conditions;
  2. To encourage, cultivate, propagate, popularize and advance the art and science of paediatric surgery;
  3. To promote and direct the development and exchange of technical, scientific and practical information relating to paediatric surgery and allied disciplines;
  4. To develop, support, and augment the education of persons engaged in the practice of paediatric surgery for the public benefit;
  5. To foster the continuing medical education of paediatric surgeons;
  6. To represent the paediatric surgeons in the above objectives but not otherwise in negotiations and interactions with other societies similar bodies locally and internationally;
